Great Western Highway & Carlisle Ave, Mt Druitt.
Single storey brick cottage with a steep symmetrical, pyramidal, hipped
corrugated iron roof and verandah that completely encircles the house.
A pair of French doors flank the front doorway. The house has four
central rooms, each with a fireplace (with two brick chimneys) and a
wide hall running from the front to the rear.
Charles Paull who bought 372 acres of the Old Mt Druitt Estate in 1872.
Paull owned and operated the Golden Sheaf Inn at Colyton. In 1884 his
son, James, aquired the site built Neoblie.
In addition to the Paull family, the house was owned by two other
families throughout it's life, including the Ryan's. In 1971 it was
aquired by the State
Planning Authority and sometime after ownership was transferred to
Blacktown City Council, the present owners
