Built before 1900. Located at 116 Rooty Hill Road South, Rooty Hill.

A substantial single storey brick house with hipped roof, weatherboard dormer windows and bull-nose verandah in galvanised iron. From the mid Victorian period.

Of particular intererst to me is that this house was apparently designed and built by my great-great-grandfather, James Tosh (1850-1918).

The property was once considerably larger and has since been subdivided. The house is surrounded on all sides by newer homes and is accessed (and viewable) only via a long driveway.
