Cheveley, Wood Ditton, Stetchworth, Dullingham, Burroughs Green,
Westley Waterless, Weston Colville, Brinkley, Carlton, West Wratton
and Balsham are among a handful of small towns that occupy the south-
eastern corner of Cambridgeshire and which forms a region which is
comparatively isolated from other towns and villages in Cambridgeshire
and nearby Suffolk. Newmarket is to the north of this "enclave" and
is in Suffolk. Burwell, Soham, Fordham and Barway lie to the north of
New Market, in Cambridgeshire.
