I try to keep this list as current as possible, however times and venues are continually changing. Please email me know if I have any details wrong or there's a social I've missed. Some of the groups listed also have socials which are not regular events (contact the group/instructor to find out about 'em). Other groups have irregular socials - if I have details on those they will be in the Special Events page.

Please confirm details prior to the event if you are not a regular - socials may be cancelled or the dates changed at short notice. Some socials are also not on every month. The playlist and level of the socials listed below vary considerably - there are beginner, oldies, upper level and mixed socials on offer. Non-regulars are recommended to check the playlist beforehand in order to avoid disapointment.

Big Al's Clubhouse:

Open, by request, mix of old & new line dancing. Soft drinks available but BYO everything else. $5 entry, includes finger food/nibblies. 11 July, 5 Sept, 7th Nov. On alternate months partner dancing (13 June, 1st Aug, 10th Oct).

Bootscooters International (Julie Talbot):

• 2nd Friday (normally), Wentworthville Bowling & Recreation Club, Garfield St, Wentworthville. 7:30pm. Contact: 02-9631-8254 (club) or 02-9560-0584 (Julie). Mostly classics & beginner/improver with some open dances.

Cactus Club (Glenda Tuttlebee, Wendy O'Brien & Jean Tullia):

• 2nd Saturday, Denistone East Bowling and Recreation Club, Salter Cresent, Denistone East. 7:30pm to midnight. Contact: 0419-995-808 (Glenda). Note there is no off-street parking at this venue. Different DJ every month. March date is 3rd March! Open social - playlist depends on DJ that month.

City Slickers (Lyn & Iain Booth):

• 1st Sunday, North Epping Bowling Club, 132 Boundary Rd (end of Norfolk Rd), Epping. 2:30-6:00pm. Social starts with 1/2 hour revision. Contact: http://roots-boots.net/slickers. Mix of classics & the latest, requests.

Dance Fever (Tracie Lee):

• __ Friday, Penrith RSL Club, Tindale Street, Penrith. 7:30pm-Midnight. Contact: http://tracielee.com. Mostly classics with some new dances. 2008 dates: 18th July, 1st August, 5th September, 10th October, 21st November.

Electric Linedance (Bill Monsieur):

Gordon Elliott:

Grizzly Adams:

• Every Thursday, St Mary's Band Club, Great Western Hwy, St Mary's. 8:30-11:30pm. Contact: 02-9623 1211 (club). This is a mixture of Rock 'n Roll and line dance classics.

Lower Mountains Line Dancers (Penny & Vicki):

• Last Saturday, every month, East Blaxland Primary School, Old Bathurst Rd, East Blaxland. 7:30-11:30pm. February to November. Contact: 02-4753-6031, Penelopetk@aol.com. Classics, beginner/improver with some open dances.

Northern Beaches Linedancers (Lindsay Ryan):

• Fourth Friday, every month. Forrestville RSL. 7:30pm start. Contact: 0404-832-054, email. Open social - all levels & all vintages.

Northside Linedancers (Carl Sullivan):

Oneliner's (Linda Burgess):

Southern Cross (Mark Simpkin):

• 1st Friday. Mt Druitt Workers Club, Woodstock Ave, Dharruk, 7:30 - 11:30pm. Socials held most months. Catering to all levels. Classics, beginner/improver with some open dances.

• Last Sunday of the month, Fairfield RSL Club, 12:30-5:00pm. Socials not held every month. Classics, beginner/improver with some open dances.
