Baptised 28/11/1686, St John the Baptist Church, Adel Parish, Yorkshire.[1] Farmed at Arthington Bank, near the present day "High Tops Farm".[1] Died 19/4/1761, Arthington, Yorkshire and buried 21/4/1761, Adel Parish, Yorkshire.[1] His gravestone inscription reads: "Here lies the body of Richard Ingham of Arthington who departed this life the 19 of Aprill aged 77.
